Man, a steal! Rare Superman comic sells for record U.s.$3.25m
The comic, published in 1938, is considered to be the "beginning of the superhero genre" as it introduced Superman to the earth.

The issue of Activeness Comics #one went for The states$3.25 one thousand thousand in a private sale, ComicConnect.com, an online auction and consignment company, announced on Tuesday (Apr vi).
It narrowly bested the previous record for the comic, set in the sale of another re-create in 2022 for slightly over US$iii.two million.
The comic, published in 1938, "really is the commencement of the superhero genre", said ComicConnect.com COO Vincent Zurzolo, who brokered the auction.
